Capybaras are the largest living rodents standing upto 2 feet tall. They are semi-aquatic and live along the river banks and rivers of the forests of South America.

Their coats are brown-reddish in colour and made up of bristly hairs.

They are good swimmers, and they have specially adapted feet with webbed toes.
